Radiofrequency microneedling is quickly gaining popularity as a skin rejuvenation treatment, thanks to its effective results and minimal recovery time. Our device uses either insulated or non-insulated microneedles, depending on skin type, to penetrate the skin at controlled depths. The needles emit radiofrequency (RF) energy deep into the tissue, which stimulates the body’s natural production of elastin and collagen, resulting in firmer, healthier skin.
RF energy generates heat that enhances collagen production. When combined with microneedling, this yields exceptional results. Similar to High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU), RF tightens and contracts collagen and elastin fibers. While HIFU is more effective for treating skin laxity, RF microneedling is excellent for a variety of skin concerns such as:
RF microneedling is suitable for all skin types with minimal downtime, and it can be used on any body area, with common targets being the face, neck, décolletage, and hands. Generally, results become noticeable after 3 to 6 treatments spaced a month apart. Downtime is minimal, and most clients can resume daily activities the same day, although redness may persist for 6 to 24 hours.
Before the procedure, numbing cream is applied to the treatment area for about 30 minutes to minimize discomfort. Some clients may feel a slight pinch, but the RF intensity can be adjusted for comfort. This minimally invasive procedure creates small perforations in the skin while delivering RF-generated heat into the dermis to trigger collagen production (neocollagenesis).
The improvements from RF microneedling continue for up to six months post-treatment as the skin gradually remodels. This treatment is safe for all skin types, but it is crucial to avoid sun exposure before and shortly after the session. RF microneedling achieves skin rejuvenation effects similar to lasers but with lower risk and downtime.
